If HSN wise summary does not show at the time of exporting GSTR 1 Return into Excel then this issue can easily be resolved in Marg ERP Software.

In order to resolve this error, the user needs to follow the steps below:

• Go to GST > GSTR1.

• Select the Period & click on ‘Show’.

• Then Rows will be shown on the window according to GSTR-1 (GST Return form).
• Click on 'GSTR1 Returns'.

• The user needs to select 'GSTN Excel Template' and select 'Include HSN Summary'.

• Then click on 'Start' button.

• In this window if the user has found any errors in GSTR1 report then those errors will be shown here.
• Click on 'Close'.

• Click on 'Yes'option.

• Now, the user can view that an excel sheet has been generated with HSN Summary & click on 'OK'.

After following the above steps, the GSTR1 summary will be exported in Excel with HSN summary in Marg ERP Softwar

Note: Starting from May 2025, the HSN summary for B2B and B2C transactions will be generated separately.

1. Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

2. A 'Control Room' window will appear. The user will select ‘Search in all’.

3. The user will Search 'HSN' and click on ‘Accept’.

4. In 'E-Invoice Y-Hsn Code I-Item wise N-No (Tax% Only)' option, the user will select 'Y'.

5. The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

6. Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

Cause:

This issue also appears due to HSN only being updated in Item Master but not updated in the bill.

Solution:

• The user needs to run a Change with Current Tax
