Cause:

This issue appears when the user has selected the Wrong Tax Status in Item Master.

Solution:

In order to Post Value in Exempted column in GSTR 1, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Masters > Inventory Master > Item Master.

• An 'Items' window will appear.

• The user will press 'Enter' key on the selected Item whose Tax Status needs to be changed.

• Suppose select 'Acnederm Lot'.

• In 'Local', the user will select 'Exempted'.

• Now the user will press 'Ctrl+W' key and click on 'Yes' to save the changes.

• The user needs to Load Tax In Sale Bill.

After following the above steps, the user can view the Item Value will be posted in the Exempted Column of GSTR 1 in Marg Software.
