Process To Generate Gstr 4 Report In Marg Software

OVERVIEW OF GSTR 4 REPORT IN MARG SOFTWARE

• GSTR-4 refers to a quarterly return filing form under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime in India. GST was implemented in India on July 1, 2017, to simplify the indirect taxation system by subsuming various indirect taxes like VAT, service tax, excise duty, etc., under a single taxation system.
• GSTR-4 is specifically designed for taxpayers who have opted for the Composition Scheme under GST. The Composition Scheme is a simpler compliance scheme aimed at small businesses, which allows them to pay tax at a fixed rate based on their turnover, without the requirement of maintaining detailed records and invoices.

PROCESS TO GENERATE GSTR 4 REPORT IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to GST > GSTR 4.

A 'GST Return-4' window will appear.

a. E-Mail To: If the user needs to E-mail the report, then mention the mail id as per the requirement.

b. Send E-Mail: If the user needs to E-Mail the sheet then select 'Yes' otherwise keep it as 'No'.

The user will click on 'Okay'.

• A Marg ERP 9+ alert will appear with the mentioned path where files have been saved.
• Click on 'Ok'.

• An Excel file will get generated of GSTR 4.
• Now the user will click on 'Validate Sheet' (as shown below image)
• Similarly, the user will validate each sheet one by one.

• Now click on 'Generate JSON file to upload'.

After following the above steps, the GSTR 4 will get generated in JSON Format in Marg Software.
