In Marg ERP Software, the user easily maintain the category wise item as per the requirement and the user can also print the Category name on bill printing for the patient.

To print Category name of the item, the user will follow the below steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Self Format. Press Enter.

• A Self Format dialog box will appear. The user will now enter the current date in reverse format.

Suppose, the current date is 23-01-2019 then the user will mention ‘2019123’. Press Enter.

• Now, a Formats window will appear.

• The user will select Invoice Format- GUI. Press Enter.

• An Invoice Format- GUI window will appear.

• In ‘Format’, enter the name of the format the user wants to print item category.

• Suppose, Enter “AC”. Press Enter.

• The user will now select ‘Bill Format’. Press Enter.

• A Bill Format GUI- AC window will appear.

• In order to print on Item part, the user will select ‘Item’. Press Enter.

• Now, suppose the user needs to put the command next to the Batch so select and copy the batch command and paste it in the next line.

• Then press 'F1' to search command.

• Search “Category” under Description.

The user will enter on this command. (as shown below)

• The user will firstly remove this particular command and paste it after pressing F3 function key.

• If the user needs to change the coordinates here then it can be changed as per the requirement.

• Now, press “Ctrl +W” then click on 'Save' in order to save it.

After following the above steps, the Category of the item will get printed on invoice format.
