Cause:

This issue occurs when in Control Room setting the Wrong Date Separator or any other symbol is being mentioned (usually which is not used as the Date Separator) in the software.

Usually the Date separator which is used is Slash '/' key.

In order to mention Correct Date Separator, the user needs to follow the below steps:

•  Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Date Sep'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Date Sep' window will appear.

• The user can view here, in 'Separator used in Date' option, '*' key is mentioned.

• The user needs to remove this '*' key by 'Backspace' key.

• In 'Separator used in Date' option, the user will mention '/' key.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view the Date will get picked in GSTR 1 in Marg Software.
