How to create encrypt word wise Price List in Marg Software ?

Marg ERP has a feature to make the price List of the item encrypt. It facilitates the user to hide some important details from their operators i.e. Rate of the items, MRP of the products and much more.

In order to know the process, the user needs to follow the given steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Encrypt Word'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • An 'Encrypt Word' window will appear.
  • In 'Value/Rate to Encrypt Word Translater Code [0123456789]' option, the user will mention alphabets as per the requirement.
  • Suppose mention 'ABCDEFGHIJ'.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

  • Now go to Master > Rate &Discount Master > Price List > All Items.

  • A 'General Price List' window will appear.
  • The user will Press 'Alt+P' key.

  • A 'Price List' window will appear.
  • The user will select 'Price List User Define'.

  • A 'Print Price List' window will appear.
  • In 'Print Copies', the user will mention'1'.
  • The user will select 'T' in the rates which needs to be encrypted.
  • Suppose in 'MRP and Rate' the user will select 'T'. Keep pressing 'Enter' key.


  • The user will select 'View/Print/Excel' as per the requirement.
  • Suppose select 'View'.

After following the above steps, the user can create encrypt word wise Price List in Marg Software.
