What is the use of 'Minimum Order Charges' option in Marg Software

Process to Enable 'Minimum Order Charges' option in Marg Software

WHAT IS THE USE OF 'MINIMUM ORDER CHARGES' OPTION IN MARG SOFTWARE

  • Well as we all know some trades has their specific limit for the 'Minimum Order Value' but if they also don't want to loose those customers who will place an order below the 'Minimum Order Value' so in this case, the user can use this option.
  • Which facilitates them to also take those orders with Some 'Order Charges' if the customer will order the products of Less than 'Minimum Value'.

PROCESS TO ENABLE 'MINIMUM ORDER CHARGES' OPTION IN MARG SOFTWARE

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Minimum Order'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Minimum Order' window will appear.
  • In 'Minimum Order Value Charges N-No D-Default Y-Askoption, the user will select 'Y'.

  • In 'Minimum Order Charges Rs' option, the user will mention the charges that need to be charged by the customer (if the customer will place an order below the minimum order value).
  • Suppose mention Rs '50'.

  • In 'Upto Bill Amountoption, the user will mention the bill value Upto which the bill will be considered of 'Less than Minimum Value'.
  • Suppose mention Rs '200'.

  • In 'If Bill Value > Above Value Charge % on Total Bill Amountoption, the user will mention the percentage of charges that need to be charged if the bill value crossed the 'Minimum Order Value'.
  • Suppose mention '10%'.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the software will ask for the minimum order Charges at the time of billing.

Case 1: When the Bill Value is Less than 'Minimum Order Value'

  • Like in our case minimum order value is Rs. 200 and the Bill value is Rs. 183.05 (less than 200) so software is charging only Rs 50 (as defined in control room)

Case 2: When the Bill Value is Less than 'Minimum Order Value'

  • Like in our case minimum Bill value is Rs 200 and the Bill value is Rs 1000 (More than 200) so software is charging only Rs 100 (10% of Total Bill Value).

After following the above steps, the user can set 'Minimum Order Value' Charges.
