Process to Disable Self Format Password in Marg Software

PROCESS TO ENABLE SELF FORMAT PASSWORD IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Password'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Password' window will appear.

• In 'Required Password in Control Room, Formats & Direct Command' option, the user will select 'Y'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• Now go to Masters > Marg Setups > Self Format.

• A 'Self Format' window will appear.

• The user will mention the password and press 'Enter' key.

• In 'Want to Change Password', the user will select 'Yes' and press 'Enter' key.

• In 'Please Enter New Password', the user will mention the new password as per the requirement and press 'Enter' key.

• In 'Re-Enter New Password', the user will again enter the password and press 'Enter' key.

• A Pop-Up of 'Password Change!' will appear.

After following the above steps, the user can enable Self Format Password in Marg Software.

PROCESS TO DISABLE SELF FORMAT PASSWORD IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will mention the password set for Self Format.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Password'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Password' window will appear.

• In 'Required Password in Control Room, Formats & Direct Command' option, the user will select 'N'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view Password window will get disabled in Self Format in Marg Software.
