OVERVIEW & NEED OF CREATION OF AN AREA MASTER

• Area covers all those locations which a businessman operates along with his clients for the purpose of doing business. In Marg Software, the user can allot area to their respective salesman.
• But for this, the user needs to create area master in order to allot area to their respective salesman.

PROCESS TO ENABLE AN AREA MASTER IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.
• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Area'.
• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• In 'Salesman / Rout / Area wise reports required', the user will select 'Y'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

PROCESS TO CREATE AREA MASTER IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Masters > Inventory Master > Area Master. 

• A 'Select Area' window will appear with the message of 'Please use keys F2-Create New, F3-Modify and Del-Delete'.

• Suppose if the user needs to create any new area then press 'F2' key.

• In 'Area', the user will mention the area as per the requirement.
• Suppose mention 'Karol Bagh'.
• In 'No. of MR.', the user will define how many MR or Salesmen needs to be allotted for 'Karol Bagh' area.
• Suppose mention '1'.
• Press 'Enter' key.

• The user can view that Karol Bagh area has been created.

PROCESS TO MODIFY AN AREA IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Now suppose the user needs to modify the area of 'Karol Bagh'.
• Press 'F3' key on it.

• Suppose change name as 'Shastri Nagar' and press 'Enter' key twice.

• The user can view Area name has been changed.

PROCESS TO DELETE AN AREA IN MARG SOFTWARE

• The user needs to press 'Delete' key to delete the Area.
• Suppose delete 'Shastri Nagar'.

• A Marg ERP 9+ alert of 'Are you sure Want to delete?' will appear.
• Click on 'Yes'.

The user can view particular Area will get delete in Marg Software.
