Process to Enable Excise Field in Item Master

Overview: In Marg software there is option in item master for excise  which is a tax levied on certain goods and commodities produced or sold within a country and on licenses granted for certain activities.

In order to enable the option in item master user needs to follow the given steps:

Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. Press Enter.

A Control Room window will appear.

The user will select ‘Search in All’. Press Enter.

A  Controls  window will appear in which the will Search “Excise”.

Now click on ‘Accept’.

An Excise window will appear.

In ‘Excise per unit sales Y-Ask N- from master X – Not required’ select “Y”.

The user will now press  Escape  key twice.

Now click on ‘Yes’ to  Save changes.

By following these steps the user can Enable Excise Field From Item Master.
