In Marg ERP Software, there is option in item master for excise which is a tax levied on certain goods and commodities produced or sold within a country and on licenses granted for certain activities.

In order to enable the Excise option in Item Master, the user needs to follow the given steps:

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• The user will search 'Excise' and click on 'Accept' button.

• In ‘Excise per unit sales Y-Ask N- from master X – Not required’ option, the user will select 'Y'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now, click on ‘Yes’ button to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can Enable Excise Field in Item Master in Marg ERP Software.
