In Marg ERP software, there is an option available to hold some of the stock out of total stock, which can be used to reduce the chances of 'Non Availability of stock' in your shop/store. You can also use this option as a reminder which makes you aware of the 'Minimum level of stock' and makes you able to manage the further required process to achieve the desired number of stock.

In order to know the process, follow the given steps:

• Go to Masters > Master > Item Master.

• Press 'F4' key on the selected item.
• Suppose select 'Acnederm Lot'.

• Select 'Batch Detail'.

• Now, press 'F3' key on selected batch to hold it.
• Suppose select batch '5778'.

• In 'Hold' option, the user will select 'Yes'.

• Now, mention the 'Number of Quantity' needs to be hold.
• Suppose mention '5' and press 'Ctrl+W' to Save the changes.

• The user can view that the selected batch will get hold.

• Suppose while creating sale bill, the user have mentioned the whole quantity available in the current stock of selected item (i.e.Acnederm Lot) and press 'Enter' key.

After following the above steps, the user can view that Hold Stock alert will appear while billing in Marg ERP Software.
