If Marg ERP Software shows 'You are not Authorized to use this Option' while entering Item Shortage then this issue can be resolved easily.

In Order to resolve "You are not authorised to use this option" alert, the user needs to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Go to Masters > Password & Powers > Operator's.

• The user will select operator for which power needs to be changed.
• Suppose select 'A' and press 'Enter' key.

• The user will click on ‘Search In All’ option.

• The user will search 'Shortage' and click on the 'Accept' button.

• In Shortage/Order on * key allowed option, the user will select 'Y'.

• Press 'ESC' key.

• Click on 'Yes' button.

• A 'Powers Change' Pop-Up will appear, and then the user will press 'ESC' key.

• Click on 'Yes' button.

• Now, for Re login the user will press 'Ctrl+U' key on the main screen. 

• Enter the User ID and Password.

• A 'Change User' window will appear in which the user will press 'ESC' key.

After following the above steps, the user can view the "You are not authorized to use this option" alert will not appear while entering shortage of items in Marg ERP Software.
