Process to implement Fast Code Search at the time of Billing in Marg Software

PROCESS TO ENABLE FAST SEARCH CODE IN ITEM MASTER IN MARG SOFTWARE

•  Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Fast Search Code'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Fast Search Code' window will appear.

• In 'Fast Searching Code [Y-Default  1 to 9-Character  N-No]' option, the user will select character as per the requirement.

• Suppose select '4'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• An 'Updation Required!' window will appear .

• The user will select 'Yes'.

PROCESS TO SET FAST CODE IN ITEM MASTER IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Master > Inventory Master > Item Master.

• An 'Items' window will appear.

• The user will press 'F3' key on item.

• Suppose select 'Acnederm Lot'.

• A 'Modify Product' window will appear.

• In 'Fast Search', the user will mention the Fast code for the searching.

• Suppose mention '112'.

•  Then press 'Ctrl+W' and select 'Yes' to save.

PROCESS TO IMPLEMENT FAST CODE SEARCH AT THE TIME OF BILLING IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Now Go to Transaction > Sale > Bill.

• A 'Sale Entry' window will appear.

• The user will mention Date and mention other details i.e party name, no. as per the requirement.

• The user will mention the fast code on Item Part and press 'Enter' key.

• Suppose mention '112'.

After following the above steps, the item will get searched from the Fast Code at the time of billing.
