How to disable an alert of 'already exist' which appears while creating or modifying an item in Marg Software?

This alert appears when the user creates duplicate items in the software.But if the user wants to create a duplicate item then this alert can be resolved

In order to resolve this alert, please follow the below steps:

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room. Press Enter.

  • A Control Room window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in All’. Press Enter.

  • A Controls window will appear in which the user will Search “Duplicate”.
  • Click on ‘Accept’.

  • A Duplicate window will appear.
  • In ‘Item Name Duplicate allowed’ option, the user will select "Y".

  • The user will now press Esc key twice .

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to Save the changes.

After following the above steps user can create the duplicate item in Marg Software.
