OVERVIEW & NEED/BENEFITS OF STATE MASTER IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

State is a required field while creating any ledger of the customer or the supplier i.e. from where that particular customer belongs to.

State Master enables the user to create the State wherever they are operating their own business.

With the help of State Master option, the user can also create, modify and delete state in Marg ERP Software. 

PROCESS TO ENABLE STATE MASTER OPTION IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• A Control Room window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press Enter.

• A Controls window will appear in which the user will Search “State”.

• Now click on ‘Accept’

• A State window will appear.

• In 'State/Country field required in Party Master', option the user will select 'Y'.

• The user will now press Esc key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save changes.

PROCESS TO CREATE NEW STATE IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE 

• Go to Masters > Inventory Master > State.

A “Select State” window will appear for the creation of the following functions:

► F2 - To create a new State.

► F3 - To modify any State.

► Del - To delete any State.

Also, by default few states along with their respective codes are already being created.

In order to create a new State, press “F2” function key.

• Type any State i.e. Punjab, Uttarakhand > Mention the Code > Press “Enter” key and the State will get created.

PROCESS TO MODIFY STATE IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE  

• Go to Masters > lnventory Masters > State Master > Press “F3” to modify state.

• Now, the user will modify the State i.e. Other States to “Rajasthan” and make the necessary changes as per the requirement then Press “Enter” key.

PROCESS TO DELETE STATE IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE  

• Go to Masters > inventory Masters > State Master.

• Then select state which needs to be deleted then press “DEL” Function key on that particular State.

• Suppose, Delete “Punjab”.

• Click on “Yes” to delete. 

After following the above steps, the selected state will get deleted.
