Overview of State Master In Marg ERP Software

State is a required field while creating any ledger of the customer or the supplier i.e. from where that particular customer belongs to.

State Master enables the user to create the State wherever they are operating their own business.

With the help of State Master option, the user can also create, modify and delete state in Marg ERP Software. 

Process To Enable State Master Option In Marg ERP Software

• Firstly, Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• The user will search 'State' and click on 'Accept' button.

• In 'State/Country field required in Party Master' option, the user will select 'Y'.

• Press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now, click on ‘Yes’ button to save the changes.

Process To Create New State In Marg ERP Software

• Go to Masters > Master > State.

• In order to create a new State, press 'F2' key.

• The user will enter the 'Name of State and its Code' as per the requirement.
• Suppose enter 'Punjab' in State , '03' in Code and press 'Enter' key.

Process To Modify State In Marg ERP Software

• Go to Masters > Masters > State Master.

• The user will select the State that needs to be modified.
• Suppose select 'Other State' and press 'F3' key.

• Now, the user will modify the State as per the requirement.
• Suppose enter 'Rajasthan' instead of 'Other State' and press 'Enter' key.

Process To Delete State In Marg ERP Software

• Go to Masters > Master > State Master.

• Select the state that needs to be deleted.
• Suppose select 'Punjab' and press 'Delete' key.

• Click on 'Yes' button to delete state. 

After following the above steps, the user can view that selected state will get deleted in Marg ERP Software.
