OVERVIEW & BENEFITS OF BLOCK STORE ROOM IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• Block Store room in Marg ERP Software enables the user to block any store which is under maintenance.

• In other words, at the time Stock Audit of the companies, once the user blocks a store of that particular company then that particular store’s item cannot be used by any of the salesperson while billing.

PROCESS OF BLOCK STORE ROOM IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

Let’s understand Block Store Room with an example.

Suppose the auditing needs to be done of the stock of a Company “Elder India” and the stock is kept in 10 No. store and the store room is mentioned in Company Master.

• So, for that go to Masters > Inventory Master > Company Master.

• Select “Elder India” company from the list of companies then press Enter.

• The user can view that the store room number has been mentioned already in this field i.e. the product of Elder India is kept in Store Room Number 10.

• Press “Enter” in order to save this window.

• Now, before blocking the store room the user will Create a Sale Bill. Go to Transactions > Sale > Bill.

• Select an item of “Elder India” i.e. ‘AMPM Plus’ for billing.

• The user can view that the software is allowing to do the billing of the product of Elder India for now.

• The user will block this product of Elder India company for now for which go to Masters>> Inventory Master>>Block Store Room.

• A window of Block Store Room will be displayed where the user will mention that store room in which an item of Elder India company is being stored i.e. Mention 10 as in company master window store room 10 is mentioned.

If the stock of the company is stored in any other store room apart from 10 number store room then the user can also define that store room as well.

• For now, keep Pressing enter key and a window of updated successfully is opened which means that the stored items are now blocked in store room 10 >> Enter on “Ok”.

• Now, the user will go again to the Sale Bill (Transactions>>Sale>>Bill)>>Go to the item list and now search ‘Ampm plus’ i.e. the item of the company which was being blocked.

• The user can view that ‘Ampm plus’ item is not shown in item list as it has been blocked.

• After the auditing of this item is completed then go to Masters > Inventory Masters > Block Store Room and will remove it or delete it.

• Then keep pressing Enter and a window of “Updated Successfully” will be displayed again>>Click on “Okay”.

• Now, the user can view that ‘Ampm plus’ item is being displayed in items list.
