Process to Enable Entry Tax in Marg ERP Software

OVERVIEW OF ENTRY TAX IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• Entry Tax is a tax on the movement of goods from one state to another imposed by the state governments in India. It is levied by the recipient state to protect its tax base. The tax was introduced on 1 September 2000.

• With the help of the Marg ERP Software the user can enter the Entry Tax for a particular item as per the requirement.

PROCESS TO ENABLE ENTRY TAX IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

• A Control Room window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press Enter.

• A Controls window will appear in which the user will Search “Entry Tax”.

• Now click on ‘Accept’

• A Decimal window will appear.

• In 'Entry Gst / Octori Reporting', option the user will select 'Y'.

• The user will now press Esc key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save changes.

After following the above steps, the Entry tax option will get enabled in item.
