OVERVIEW OF CATEGORIZE ITEMS TO PRINT SEPARATELY ON BILL IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

In Marg ERP Software, the user can set item type and that information will automatically get printed in the bill.

While creating products with various categories the user can define their type like for medicines: normal, costly, temperature defined etc. or for garments: Small, medium, large etc.  So, whenever the user will print the bill of these products then the print will come category wise.

With the use of Color-Wise Differentiation of Items & Parties it will get easier for the shopkeeper to search the products and a lot of time can be saved.

PROCESS TO CATEGORIZE ITEMS TO PRINT SEPARATELY ON BILL IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

Firstly, Go to Masters > Inventory Master > Item Master. Press Enter.

An Item/Store window will appear.

The user will now select the item to set the heading. Suppose, select ‘Eldervit Inj. 2.5ml’. Press Enter.

A Modify Product window will appear.

In ‘Item Type’ field, the user will select the item type from the drop down.

Note: If the user selects ‘Normal’ then no heading will be displayed.

Suppose, select ‘24° Storage’.

Now the user will press Page Down key and then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

Then, go to Transactions > Sale > Bill. Press Enter.

A Sale Entry window will appear.

The user will now enter the date.

A Ledgers window will appear.

The user will select the ledger. Suppose, select ‘Ahuja Medical Centre’. Press Enter.

A GST Invoice Entry window will appear.

Now press Enter again and an Item/Store window will appear.

The user will now select the item. Suppose, select ‘Eldervit Inj. 2.5ml’.Press Enter.

The user will now enter the quantity. Suppose, enter ‘5’.

Now press End key to save the bill.

A Print process dialog box will appear.

The user will now click on ‘F’ to view the preview of the Invoice.

The preview of the invoice will appear.

The user can view that the item heading ‘24° Storage’ is displayed for ‘Eldervit Inj. 25m.l’.

PROCESS TO CHANGE THE HEADING IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE 

The user will now go to Masters > MARG Setups > SELF FORMAT. Press Enter.

A Self Format window will appear.

The user will now enter the date in reverse format. Suppose, today the date is 21-12-18 then the user will enter 20181221.

A Formats window will appear.

The user will select ‘Invoice Format-GUI’. Press Enter.

An Invoice Format-GUI window will appear.

The user will select the format and then press enter.

Then the user will again press enter.

The user will now select ‘Page Settings’. Press Enter.

A Page Setup-GUI-11 window will appear.

The user will now click on ‘Next’.

An Invoice Format window will appear.

The user will now search ‘For Cold Storage’.

The user will now click on ‘Accept’.

An Invoice Format For Cold Storage window will appear.

In ‘Heading for Cold 8° Storage’, the user will enter ‘Freezer Item’.

Press Escape key and come on the Formats window to save.

The user will now go to Masters > Inventory Master > Item Master. Press Enter.

An Item/Store window will appear.

The user will now select an item. Suppose, select ‘Eldervit Inj. 2.5ml’. Press Enter.

A Modify Product window will appear.

The user will select the Item Type as ‘8° Storage’.

Press Page Down key and then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

The user will now go to Transactions > Sale > Bill. Press Enter.

A Sale Entry window will appear.

The user will now enter the date.

PROCESS TO MODIFY THE HEADING IN ITEM MASTER IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

The user will now go to Masters > Inventory Master > Item Master. Press Enter.

An Item/Store window will appear.

The user will now select the item. Suppose, select ‘Eldervit Inj. 2.5ml’.

A Modify Product window will appear.

In ‘Item Type’ field, the user will select the item type from the drop down.

Suppose, the user wants to change ‘Costly Items’ to ‘Freezer Item’.

So, now Go to Masters > MARG Setups > CONTROL ROOM. Press Enter.

A Control Room window will appear.

The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press Enter.

A Controls window will appear.

The user will search ‘Heading’.

The user will now click on ‘Accept’.

A Heading window will appear.

In ‘Item Type Costly Item Heading’ the user will enter ‘Freezer Item’.

Press Escape key twice and then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

Now go to Master > Inventory Master > Item Master. Press Enter.

An Item/Store window will appear.

The user will now select an item. Suppose, select ‘Eldervit Inj. 2.5ml’. Press Enter.

A Modify Product window will appear.

In ‘Item Type’ the user can view that ‘Costly Item’ has been changed to ‘Freezer Item’.
