As your business grows, you might have more items in your stock and managing them becomes more challenging. In Marg ERP Software, you can classify your items under several categories. This helps you to organize your stock and access them easily, resulting in better inventory management.

In order to create category, please follow the below steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters > Inventory Master > Category Master. 

• A ‘Select Category’ dialog box will appear.

• Press 'F2' to create category.

• A dialog box appears containing the Category and Minimum Margin options.

•  Enter the name of the category of the item beside the Category option and enter Margin if required.

• Suppose, enter 'Injection'.

• Then press 'Enter' to add the category.
