OVERVIEW OF GST COLUMN IN PURCHASE AND SALE BILL IN MARG SOFTWARE

In Marg Software, there is Option to enable GST Column in Sale and Purchase bill, which is used to check the actual percentage (%) of tax item wise. This enables the user to easily check tax amount on Main screen of Sale bill.

PROCESS TO ENABLE GST COLUMN IN RETAIL SALE AND PURCHASE BILL IN MARG SOFTWARE

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.

  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in All’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will search 'GST Column'.
  • Click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'GST Column' window will appear.
  • In ‘Gst column in Y-Sale & Purchase/S-Sale/P-Purchase (Retail)’ option the user will select 'Y'.
  • In ‘Name of Tax Column’ option, the user will mention the tax column name according to the requirement.
  • Suppose Mention 'Tax'.

  • The user will press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the GST column will get enabled in Retail sale & Purchase bill.

Suppose view 'Sale'.

PROCESS TO DISABLE GST COLUMN IN RETAIL SALE AND PURCHASE BILL IN MARG SOFTWARE

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. 

  • A 'Control Room'  window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in All’

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will search 'GST Column'.
  • Click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'GST Column' window will appear.
  • In ‘Gst column in Y-Sale & Purchase/S-Sale/P-Purchase (Retail)’ the user will select 'N'.

  • The user will press 'ESC' key twice

  • Then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the  GST column will get disabled from the Retail sale & Purchase bill.
