In Marg software there is an option to search Item on different basis like code, Name Search in and if one of them is used by user frequently then there is no need to set the searching parameter again and again, the user can set default option to search an Item.

For this user has to save one bill with required parameter and after that it will automatically picked by software.

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.
  

• A Control Room window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in All’. Press Enter.

• A  Controls window will appear in which the will Search “Item Code”.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• An Item Code window will appear.

•  In ‘Item Code Y = Auto C= Company T-Category N= Self' the user will select “N”.

• The user will now press  Escape  key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to Save changes.

• In order to check implementation following steps needs to be done by user: 

• Set “Search on” option to “Find code” after selecting items then save this bill.

When again we start to create bill there is no need to set search parameter to “Find Code” because it gets automatically picked by software.
