Cause:

 This issue appears due to customer created separate series for cash and credit and also using the party wise split (cash/credit).

If in Marg Software, 'Cash parties allowed for this series' error show then it can easily be resolve .

In order to resolve the error of 'Cash Parties allowed for this Series', the user needs to follow below mention steps:-

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Split'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Split' window will appear.
  • In 'Cash/Credit No H-Half Split M-Multi R-Credit C-Cash P-Party' option, the user will select 'R'.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the error of 'Cash parties allowed for this series' will not show while billing.

Ans.2

1. Go to Transactions > Sale > Bill (Alt+N).

2. A 'Series' window will appear in which the user will press 'F3' key on selected series.

3. In next window the user will select 'Cash/Credit' option to 'Ask'.

4. Now press 'Page Down' key.
