Overview: In Marg software the user can implement various types of discounts like volume discount, discount on bill value, item discount etc. In addition to volume discount this feature is also available as sub divisions of discounts that either user wants to charge volume discount after item discount or before item discount.

If User wants to charge discount on net value of goods (i.e. Rate * Qty) then follow the given steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. Press Enter.

• A Control Room window will appear.
• The user will select ‘Search in All’. Press Enter.

• A Controls window will appear in which the user will Search “Volume Discount”.
• Now click on ‘Accept’. 

• A Volume Discount window will appear.
• In ‘Percentage volume discount on 1-Rate*Qty 2-Rate*Qty-Disc ’ the user will select “1”.

• The user will now press Escape key twice.

• Now click on‘Yes’ to Save changes.
