If software is generating the current barcode of 15 characters however the last barcode was of 8 characters then how to resolve it in Marg Software?
This issue appears due to user has to selected 'GSN1 Barcode' type in Generate batch barcode number option in control room setup.
In order to resolve this issue, the user needs to follow the below steps:
- Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.
- A 'Control Room' window will appear.
- Select ‘Search in all’.
- A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user needs to search 'Generate Barcode'.
- Now click on ‘Accept’.
- A 'Generate Barcode' window will appear.
- In 'Generate Batch BarCode Number on' option, the user needs to select 'Y'.
- The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.
- Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.
After following the above steps, the software will generate barcode properly.
