How to increase the length of the HSN Code in Marg Software?

In order to increase the length of the HSN Code, the user will follow the below steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room. 

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press 'Enter'.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'HSN CODE'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'HSN Code' window will appear.

• In 'HSN CODE/Commodity Code Length <Default 10>' option, the user mention the HSN Code length as per the requirement.

• Suppose mention '8'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the HSN Code length will get increased.
