In Marg Software, if the user needs to convert Basic version into silver then it can be done easily by making some changes in options of the software like disable wholesale billing,Multi unit,disable barcode etc.,

Note: If any of the option is changed, the software will again get convert into the Basic Version.

In order to convert Basic Version into Silver, the user needs to follow below steps:

Note: It's Mandatory to only have single Company, otherwise this process will not work.

Process To Disable Wholesale Billing:

1. Go to Master > Marg Setup > Control Room.

2. A 'Control Room' window will appear. The user will select ‘Search in All’.

3. Then user will search 'Wholesale Billing Req' and click on ‘Accept’.

4. A 'Wholesale Billing Req' window will appear. In ‘Wholesale Billing Required’, the user will select 'N'.

5. The user will now press 'ESC' key twice and click on ‘Yes’ to Save changes.

Process To Enable Multi Unit:

1. Go to Master > Marg Setup > Control Room.

2. A 'Control Room' window will appear > The user will select ‘Search in All’.

3. The user will Search 'Unit' and click on ‘Accept’.

4. A 'Unit' window will appear. In ‘Multi Unit Billing', the user will select 'Y'.

5. The user will now press 'ESC' key twice and click on ‘Yes’ to Save changes.

Process To Set Company Batch Wise (Self-Secondary):

1. The user will press 'Alt+X' key or Click on Exit Button on main screen of the Software.

2. A 'List of Companies' window will be appear. The user will press 'F3' key on selected company.

3. In 'Set Working Style', the user will select 'Self-Secondary'.

4. Now press 'Ctrl+W' key to save the changes.

Process To Disable Barcode Setup:

1. Go to Master > Marg Setup > Control Room.

2. A 'Control Room' window will appear. The user will select ‘Search in All’.

3. The user will search 'Barcode' and click on ‘Accept’.

4. A 'Barcode' window will appear. In ‘Item Working Style', the user will select 'N'.

5. The user will now press 'ESC' key twice and click on ‘Yes’ to Save changes.

Process To Disable Decimal in Quantity:

1. Go to Master > Marg Setup > Control Room.

2. A 'Control Room' window will appear. The user will select ‘Search in All’.

3. The user will Search 'Unit' and click on ‘Accept’.

4. A 'Unit' window will appear. In ‘FREE Qty. Req.in decimal Y-Always A-If in Master N-As Per Master’, the user will select 'N'.

5. In 'Stock in 2/3/4/6 decimal',the user will select '2'.

6. The user will now press 'ESC' key twice and click on ‘Yes’ to Save changes.

Process To Enable Expiry Date:

1. Go to Master > Marg Setup > Control Room.

2. A 'Control Room' window will appear. The user will select ‘Search in All’.

3. Then user will Search 'Expiry Date' and click on ‘Accept’.

4. A 'Expiry Date' window will appear. In ‘Exp.Date Required’, the user will select 'Y'.

5. The user will now press 'ESC' key twice and click on ‘Yes’ to Save changes.
