In Marg software, the user can maintain stock item code wise which is used by an organization to assign specific accounting information to each item.

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room. 

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in All’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear. The user will Search 'Item Code'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• An 'Item Code' window will appear.

• In ‘Item Code Y=Auto C=Company T-Category N=Self 2=Code+Color’ , the user will select 'N'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice .

• Click on ‘Yes’ to Save changes.

After following the above steps, the item code will get enabled in item master.
