In Marg Software, the user can calculate bill discount on difference basis i.e. Rate-Exi-Disc, Rate-Disc and Rate as per the requirement.

In order to calculate Bill discount on Rate, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear, in which the user will Search 'Bill Discount'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A Bill Discount window will appear.

• In 'Bill Discount on Y-Rate-Exi-Disc N-Rate-Disc E-Rate-Exi R-Rate' option, the user will select 'R'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view that the Bill discount will get calculated on Rate in sale bill in Marg Software.

Suppose Rate of 'Amlogard' is Rs. 150, Qty 1, Discount =(Rate*Qty)*Disc%=(150*1)*10%= Rs. 30
