How to Calculate CESS on the Value of Goods in Marg Software ?
In Marg Software, the user can calculate the CESS om the required value i.e. Tax, Value of goods, Rate* Qty, Total value etc.
In order calculate CESS on the value of goods (Rate * Qty), the user needs to follow the below steps:
- Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.
- A 'Control Room' window will appear.
- The user will select ‘Search in all’.
- A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Calculate Cess'.
- Now click on ‘Accept’.
- A 'Calculate Cess' window will appear.
- In 'Sales : Calculate on A-Tax/B-Rate*Qty/C-Total/D-Gross/Q-Qty' option, the user will select 'B'.
- The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.
- Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.
After following the above steps, the CESS will calculate on the value of goods (Rate*Qty) in Marg Software.
