VAT or Value Added Tax is a type of tax that is charged by the Central Government on the sale of services and goods to the consumers. VAT is paid by the producers of services and goods, but it is finally imposed on the consumers who purchase the services and goods when they pay for it.

However if the user needs to Disable the Cenvat Refund option from Purchase Bill, then it can be done easily.

In order to Disable the Cenvat Refund option, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Cenvat'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Cenvat' window will appear.

• In 'Cenvat Refund On Purchase M/N' option, the user will select 'N'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view Cenvat refund option will get disabled in Marg Software.
