How to set the different Color for Cash and Credit Bills in Marg Software?

With the help of Marg Software the user can easily make the differentiation in the bills of 'Cash And Credit' separately with the change of its Color. This option facilitates the user to identify the Cash and credit bills easily. 

In order to know the process, the user needs to follow the given steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.


  • A 'Control Room' window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Color'.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Color' window will appear.
  • In 'Change color of Cash-C Credit-R on Bill list' option, the user will select 'C'.
  • Suppose user need to change the color of 'Cash Bills'.

Note: To change the color of credit bills, the user needs to select 'R'.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the software will show Cash bills in different colors.

Suppose user is creating a sale bill of 'Cash'.

Now the software is showing the respective bill in different color (as shown below):
