• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• The user will search 'Self Define' and click on 'Accept' button.

• In 'Self defined fields : Bill Item Defa+Item/Item' option, the user will select 'D' and in 'Maximum Field' option, the user will enter the number of Maximum Fields.
• Suppose enter '10'.

• In 'Bill Start & End' option, the user will select 'D' and in 'Maximum Field' option, the user will enter the number of Maximum Fields.
• Suppose enter '10'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Additional Features  > Self Field-Bill Start.

• The user will mention the Name of the Format.
• Suppose mention '11' and press 'Enter' key.

• Click on 'Inventory Types' option.

• Select the Billing Types in which Self Defined Fields needs to be enabled.
• Suppose select 'Check Sales' option and click on 'OK' button.

• Click on 'Fields Setup' option.

The user will mention the below options as per the requirement.

a. S.: The user will mention the 'Serial Number of the field'.

b. Question Row: The user will enter the 'pixels of Row for the Question'. 

c. Question Col: The user will enter the 'pixels of Column for the Question'. 

d. Answer Row: The user will enter the 'pixels of Row for the Answer'. 

e. Answer Col: The user will enter the 'pixels of Column for the Answer'.

f.  Save In: Select 'Yes' to save the Self field data otherwise select 'No'.

g. On Blank: The user will enter the 'Name' that needs to be printed if the Field is blank.

h. Ask Question: The user will enter the 'Question' that needs to be asked in the Self field.

i. Default Answer: The user will enter the default 'Answer' for the Self field.

j. Entry Type: Select the 'format of the Answer' that needs to be fed.

k. Length & Deci: Mention the Characters that are allowed in the Solution and If the user has selected 'Numeric' in Entry Type then the user can mention the Decimal Digits.

l. Activate: Select 'Yes' to activate the field otherwise keep it as 'No'.

• Press 'ESC' key.

• Click on 'Yes' button.

After following the above steps, the user can Enable Self Field in Marg ERP Software.
