In Marg ERP Software, if the user needs to set Challan Indexing, then it can be set easily as per the requirement.

In order to set Challan Indexing, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• The user will select the 'Search in All' option.

• The user will search 'Index' and click on the 'Accept' button.

In 'Challans' option, the user will select the options as per the requirement.

a. N-Entry:  The user will select the option if need to index an item on the Entry Base.

b. C-Code: The user will select the option if need to index the item on Code Base.

c. G-Barcode: The user will select the option if need to index item barcode-wise.

d. Y-Store Room: The user will select the option if need to index item on Store Room.

e. F-Floor+Store Room: The user will select the option if need to index items onthe  Floor and Store Room wise.

f. I-Item: The user will select the option if need to index item alphabetically.

g. P-Company:The user will select the option if need to index item Company wise.

h. T-Tax: The user will select the option if need to index item Tax wise.

i. D-Discount: The user will select the option if need to index item Discount wise.

j. U-Unit: The user will select the option if need to index item unit-wise.

k. H-Challan: The user will select the option if need to index item in the Challan.

l. S-Salt: The user will select the option if need to index item Salt wise.

m. A-Category: The user will select the option if need to index item Category wise.

n. R-Rack: The user will select the option if need to index item Rack wise.

o. M-Remark: The user will select the option if need to index item Remark-wise.

p. E-Mfr: The user will select the option if need to index item Manufacturing wise.

q. O-Store: The user will select the option if need to index item store-wise.

r. m-Small Remark: The user will select the option if need to index item small remark wise.

s. 1-Sch. h1/Narco: The user will select the option if need to index item Schedule H1/Narcotic wise.

t. B-Set of Bundle/Item: The user will select the option if need to index item Set of Bundle/Item wise.

Suppose select 'I'.

• Press 'Esc' key.

• Click on 'Yes' button.

After following the above steps, the user can view that the bill will get indexed on the basis of items. However, if the user has selected the items in the bill non-alphabetically, the software will automatically index them alphabetically in Marg ERP Software.
