How to set software will auto pick the discount from sale order in Marg Software?

With the help of Marg ERP software, the user has no need to mention the discount in the sale bill if has already mentioned in sale order of the selected party. Which saves the lot of time of user to mention the discount in sale bills as well as in the sale orders.

In order to do the same, the user will follow the below steps:

  • Firstly, Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room.


  • A Control Room window will appear.
  • The user will select ‘Search in all’. Press 'Enter'.

  • A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search “Pick Rate”.
  • Now click on ‘Accept’.

  • A 'Pick Rates' window will appear.
  • In 'Pick R-Rates & D-Discounts Y-Both from Sales/Purchase Order' option, the user will select 'D'.

  • The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the software will pick the discount from the sales orders.

Suppose create a sale order of 'A2z Pharmacy' with an item Acenederm Lot and have also mentioned 5% discount on it.

And when the sale order is being loaded into sale bill the software has automatically picked that mentioned discount in the sale bill.
