Overview Of Push Sale In Marg ERP Software

The Push Sale option helps manage items that are not selling well and those nearing their expiration dates, which are bought from your retailers. This helps in selling these products before they expire or become waste.

Push Sale Feature:

The "Push Sale" feature shows a list of important items on the side of the billing screen for the cashier. It highlights certain types of products during billing, which include:

  • Focused Items – These are items that the distributor, supplier, retailer, or any businessperson aims to sell because they are in high demand or have a good profit margin.
  • Dump Items – These are items that have been selling very slowly or haven't been sold for a long time.
  • Near Expiry Items – These are products that are close to their expiration dates.

Process To Enable Push Sale In Marg ERP Software

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

  • The user will select 'Search in all'.

  • The user will search 'Push Saleand click on the 'Accept' button.

  • In 'Push Sale option work on Default 1-On 2- Off 3-Auto Off' option, the user will select '1'.

  • In 'Show 1-All 2-Focus 3-Focus+Near Exp 4-Focus+Dump' option, the user will select the option as per the requirement.

1: All: The user will select the option if the user needs to display all Focus+Near Exp+Dump Items in the dashboard.

2: Focus: The user will select the option if the user needs to display only Focus Items in the dashboard.

3: Focus+Near Exp: The user will select the option if the user needs to display only Focus+Near Exp Items in the dashboard.

4: Focus+Dump: The user will select the option if the user need to display only Focus+Dump Items in the dashboard.

  • In 'Maximum Items for push sale of Near Exp & Dump items' option, the user will mention the number of Items that need to be displayed.
  • Suppose mention '100'.

  • In 'Show Rate & Deal in 0-All 1-Focus 2-Near Exp 3- Dump N-No' option, the user will select the option as per the requirement

0: All: The user will select the option if the user needs to display Rate & Deal of all Items in the dashboard.

1:  Focus: The user will select the option if the user needs to display Rate & Deal of Focus Items in the dashboard.

2: Near Exp: The user will select the option if the user needs to display Rate & Deal of Near Exp Items in the dashboard.

3: Dump: The user will select the option if the user needs to display Rate & Deal of Dump Items in the dashboard.

N:No: The user will select the option if the user does not need to display Rate & Deal in the dashboard.

  • In 'How many Top Focus Items show on the side window' option, the user will mention the number of Focus Item that needs to be displayed in the dashboard.

  • Similarly, the user will mention the number of items for each Near-Expiry/Dump/Advice Item.

  • In 'Sale -> Display on the basis of Party Sales Days', Focus/Dump/Near Expiry items will display if they were sold to the party on or before the mentioned days.

  • In 'Purchase -> Display on the basis of Party Sales Days', Focus/Dump/Near-Expiry items will display if they were purchased on or before the mentioned days.

  • In 'Don't show Items if already sold in ? days to selected party', If the Focus/Dump/Near-Expiry items are sold to the party within the mentioned days then items will not display on the dashboard. 

  • In 'Supplied Items on side display for Stock Value', supplied items will display based on the mentioned stock value.

  • In 'Near Expiry Items on side display for Stock Value >', Near-Expiry items will display based on the mentioned stock value.

  • In 'Near Expiry Days = Expiry - Current Date >= Days', the user will mention the days based on which near-expiry days need to be calculated.

  • Similarly, the user will mention the Stock Value and the calculation for Dump Stock Items.

  • In 'Dump,N/E & Supplied Items index 1-Amount 2-Qty 3-Days', the user will select the option based on which the Dump, N/E & Supplied Items needs to be indexed.

  • Press 'Esc' key twice.

  • Click on 'Yes' button.

Process Of Push Sale In Marg ERP Software

  • Now, when the user creates a Sale Bill, on the side dashboard the user can view the Push Sale Items.

  • The user can simply click on the Item on the Dashboard to load in sale bill.
