OVERVIEW OF CRATE STOCK MANAGEMENT IN MARG SOFTWARE

• In Marg Software the user can maintain the stock on the basis of crate. Crates are the boxes in which the seller can keep the stock of the items. So, the user can keep a record of the stock qty. It's opening, issuing, receiving, and closing.

PROCESS TO ENABLE CRATE STOCK MANAGEMENT IN MARG SOFTWARE

Note: After enabling the Control Room option, the user will run Structure Verification in the Software.

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Crate'.
• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Crate' window will appear.

• In 'Crate Stock Management' option, the user will select 'Y'.

• In 'Calculate auto in Issue/Receive/Both/No' option, the user will select I- Sale, R-Purchase, B-Both sale &purchase, N-No.

• Suppose select 'B'.

• In 'Ask only if crate item is available Y-Yes/A-Always' option, the user will set it as per the requirement. 

• Suppose select 'A'

• In 'Colour', the user will define the color as per the requirement with 'Opening Stock' as per the requirement.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

PROCESS TO SET CRATE IN ITEM MASTER IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Go to Master > Inventory Master > Item Master.

• An 'Items' window will appear.

• The user will press 'F3' key on item.

• Suppose select 'Soft Drink'.

• A 'Modify Product' window will appear.

• In 'Crate', the user will select the color of the crate in which softdrink will be placed.

• Suppose select 'Red'.

• In 'Conversion', the user will mention the number of the softdrink in one crate.

• Suppose select '10'.

• Then press 'Ctrl+W' key and select 'Yes' to save.

PROCESS TO IMPLEMENT CRATE IN SALE AND PURCHASE BILL IN MARG SOFTWARE

• Now Go to Transaction > Purchase > Bill.

• A 'Purchase Entry' window will appear.

• The user will mention Date and other details, i.e., party name and party no. as per the requirement.

• The user will press 'Enter' and select the item.

• Suppose select 'Soft Drink'.

• The user will mention the Qty and Rate as per the requirement.

• Suppose mention qty '20' and Rate Rs.'100'.

• The user will press 'Tab' key.

• A 'Crate Detail' window will appear.

• The user can view that the software has picked (20 Qty /10 Conversion)= '2' in receive as per the conversion defined in the item master.

• The user will select 'Yes' to save.

• Similarly, at the time of sale, the user will mention qty '10' and Rate 'Rs.200' and in the Crate window, the software will auto-pick '1' in Issue (10 Qty/10 Conversion).
