At the Time of Create New Item the Item Code Not Auto Generate

Overview: - In MARG ERP Software the user can enable the item code auto generate at the time of create new item for customization, modification and for the user’s benefit.

Process to enable the item code auto generates at the time of creation of new item:

In order to enable the item code auto generates at the time of creation of new item the user has to follow the certain steps:

Firstly, the user needs to enable the option from control room.

Go to Masters >> Marg Setups >> Control Room

After following the above step a CONTROL ROOM window will appear in which user will select the SEARCH IN ALL option.

After clicking on the above option i.e. SEARCH IN ALL a window will appear in which the user will search for ITEM CODE in search option and then click on the ACCEPT button.

After clicking on the ACCEPT button a window will appear with different options of ITEM CODE in which user will set the Item Code Y=Auto C=Company T-Category N=Self 2=Code+Color.........as (N).

After enabling this option from the control room the user will then save the changes by selecting YES as shown below.

By following the above steps the user can enable the item code auto generates at the time of creation of new item.


To resolve this follow below steps:
  1. Go to Start software with Supervisor ID => Go to Master => Margsetup => Control Room => Search In All = Search “Item code”.
  2. An option will show there “Item code” => Set this as “N”.
  3. Press Enter key => Press Esc key => Save change “Yes”.

  1. Go to Start software with Supervisor ID => Go to Master => Margsetup => Control Room => Search In All = Search “Item code”.
  2. An option will show there “Item code” => Set this as “N”.
  3. Press Enter key => Press Esc key => Save change “Yes”.

To resolve this follow below steps:
  1. Go to Start software with Supervisor ID => Go to Master => Margsetup => Control Room => Search In All = Search “Item code”.
  2. An option will show there “Item code” => Set this as “N”.
  3. Press Enter key => Press Esc key => Save change “Yes”.

To resolve this follow below steps:
  1. Go to Start software with Supervisor ID => Go to Master => Margsetup => Control Room => Search In All = Search “Item code”.
  2. An option will show there “Item code” => Set this as “N”.
  3. Press Enter key => Press Esc key => Save change “Yes”.

To resolve this follow below steps:
  1. Go to Start software with Supervisor ID => Go to Master => Margsetup => Control Room => Search In All = Search “Item code”.
  2. An option will show there “Item code” => Set this as “N”.
  3. Press Enter key => Press Esc key => Save change “Yes”.
