How to Auto Generate Batch wise Barcode in All Items in Marg ERP Software ?

  • Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

  • The user will select ‘Search in all’.

  • The user will search 'Barcode' and click on 'Accept' button.

  • In 'Item working style' option, the user will select 'R' and press 'PageDown' key.

  • In 'Generate Batch Barcode Number on' option, the user will select 'Y' and press 'PageDown' key.

  • In 'Generate Barcode Number A-Always C-Company I-Item wise' option, the user will select 'I'. 

  • In 'Default BarCode Character (eg. Shop Short Name)' option, the user will mention 'Short Name' which user will mention in starting of the barcode.
  • Suppose mention 'B'.

  • In 'Last BarCode No.' option, the user will mention the Starting series no. of the barcode.
  • Suppose mention '100000'.

  • The user will press 'ESC' key twice.

  • Now, click on ‘Yes’ button to save the changes.

  • Click on 'Yes' button.

  • Now, the user will Re-generate Batch wise Barcode in All items.
  • Go to Reports > Management Report > Utilities > Multi Editing > Re-Generate BarCode.

  • The user will type 'Sure' and press 'Enter' key.

  • The user will select the company whose barcode needs to be generated.

Note: The user will press 'Spacebar' or plus '+' key to select a particular company or press Asterisk '*' to select All Companies. 

Note: Thereafter, the user needs to Run structure verification.

After following the above steps, the user can view Batch wise barcode will get generated in All Items in Marg ERP Software.
