How to set the Value of Other Head should be calculated on Value Of Goods in Marg ERP Software ?

In Marg ERP Software, the user can calculate other heads on different bases such as Goods Value, Goods + Tax + Other, Rate × Quantity, etc.

In order to calculate other head value based on the value of goods, the user needs to follow the below steps:
  • Go to Master > Marg Setup > Control Room. 

  • The user will select the 'Search in All' option.

  • The user will search 'Other Head' and click on the 'Accept' button.

  • In 'Others +- Ask Amount/Head (% available to calculate amount)' option, the user will select 'H'.

  • In 'If Head ask 1-All 2-% 3-Amount' option, the user will select '1' for All, '2' for percentage wise, '3' for amount wise.
  • Suppose select '2' for percentage wise.

  • In 'If Head % Calculate on' option, the user will select 'Goods Value'.

  • Press 'Esc' key.

  • Click on 'Yes' button.

After following the above steps, the other head value will be calculated on 'Value Of Goods' in Marg ERP Software.

  • Suppose there is an item 'Amifru'. The (Value Of  Good=Rate*Qty),(1*1000)= Rs. 1000, so if the other head percentage is 10%  of the value of good, then other head amount will be (1000*10%)= Rs.100.
