Cause:

This issue appears when only Item's Purchase Rate has been mentioned in Item/Batch Master.

• The user can view only the purchase rate mentioned and item's cost is 'Zero'.

Solution:

The user needs to Update the Item cost in Item/Batch Master.

In order to Display proper Margin, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’. 

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will search 'Display Margin'.

• Now click on ‘Accept’.

• A 'Display Margin' window will appear.
• In 'Display MArgin Y-(Sale-Cost)*100/Cost N=(Sale-Cost)*100/Sale', option the user will select 'Y'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Now click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can view Margin will get display on Item description window while billing in Marg Software.
