In Marg ERP Software, the user can maintain the item code for each item. However, if the needs to disable it the user can disable this from control room setup.

In order to disable item code, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Firstly, Go to Masters > Marg Setups > Control Room.

• A 'Control Room' window will appear.

• The user will select ‘Search in all’.

• A 'Controls' window will appear in which the user will Search 'Item Code'.

• Click on ‘Accept’.

• An 'Item Code' window will appear.

• In ‘Item Code Y=Auto C=Company T-Category N=Self 2=Code+ Color’ option, the user will select 'Y'.

• The user will now press 'ESC' key twice.

• Then click on ‘Yes’ to save the changes.

After following the above steps, the user can disable item code in Item Master in Marg Software.
