Process to Recover Deleted Challans in Marg Software

OVERVIEW OF RECOVER DELETED CHALLANS IN MARG SOFTWARE

• The need to recover Deleted Challans arises, when a challan of any party or customer has got misplaced or deleted by mistake. This results in creating problems in the party’s data.
• With the help of ‘Recover Bills from Backup’ option of Marg Software, the user can easily recover the Challans which are deleted by default only if backup is taken on daily basis.

PROCESS TO RECOVER DELETED CHALLANS IN MARG SOFTWARE

Note: Please Take backup before using this option.

• Go to Reports > Management Reports> Utilities > Misc. Utilities.

• Click on 'Recover Bills From Backup'.

• A Marg ERP 9+ alert of 'Please Take Backup Before this Option!' window will appear.
• Click on 'Ok'.

A 'Recover Missing From Backup' window will be appear.

a. Backup of Financial: The user can mention Backup path if needs to recover bill from financial year Backup.

b. Self Backup: If the user takes the backup manually, that path can be mentioned in this field.

c. Carbon Copy Path: The user will define that path where the user has taken the Imp backup, otherwise software will auto pick that path.

d. Server Backup Path: The user will define that path where the user has taken the server backup, otherwise software will auto pick that path.

• Suppose the user needs to recover Challan from financial year Backup.
• Press 'F2' key.

• A 'Recover Bills' window will appear.
• From 'Directory', the user will select the Path of backup where the backup has been taken.
• Select the backup and click on 'Select'.

• Press 'PageDown' key.

• A 'Recover Bills' window will appear.
• The user will mention the date range from which challans needs to be recover.
• In 'For', the user will select 'Recover Challan'.

• Now, the user will press 'Enter' key.

• A 'Recover Data From Backup' window will appear.

Note: The user will select all the bills by pressing star '*' key or to select single bill user needs to press 'Spacebar' on it.

Suppose select 'CA000001' and press 'F6' key.

• Thereafter the user will type 'SURE' in order to recover the bills from the backup.

• A Marg ERP 9+ alert of 'Re-Saved Successfully, No error Found!' will appear.
• Click on 'Ok'.

• A Marg ERP 9+ alert of 'Successfully updated! Run Error Checking!' window will appear.
• Click on 'Ok'.

• After following the above steps , the user can Recover Deleted Challan in Marg Software.
