Registration Related

1. How can I Register as a Merchant?

Ans. Simple! If you are a MargERP user please Login the software then :

(i) Go to Banking Menu > Registration > Digital Collection.

(ii) Select New User then Fill all the required details and Upload the required documents and 'Submit' the application.

2. How can I Register as a Sub – Merchant?

Ans. Go to http://margpay.com/ click on the 'Sign-Up' .

(ii) Then Fill your Email id & Mobile number then Generate OTP.

(iii) Now, Verify OTP and Create Password for login then you become a Sub-Merchant 'Welcome to MargPay'.

3. Can we change the details after got Registration status 'Approved' ?

Ans. Once the user has got Registration Status as 'Approved' in Marg Pay then the user cannot change any of the details.

4. What documents required for Merchant Registration?

Ans. Required documents details mentioned below:

(i) Firm or Proprietor Pan Card

(ii) GST Certificate/Incorporation Certificate/Trade Certificate

(iii) Clear front photo of Shop/Office

(iv) Current account cancel cheque

5. How much time it will take in Registration Process?

Ans. Once you submit your application It will take 1 hour for application approval. Once you application get approved you will get email notification from MargPay.

6. If Merchant is unable to fill bank details?

Ans. Make sure that at least a ledger of Bank should be created in the software.

7. In which format documents need to upload?

Ans. Currently we are supporting only .JPG format.

8. Can we change document details after Registration ?

Ans. The document column is not changeable after approved Marchant.

Payment Related

1. How can I do payment for my outstanding?

Ans. (i) Login on the http://margpay.com/.

(ii) Then Go to Outstanding > Click on 'Pay' > Select Invoice > Click on 'Pay Now'.

(iii) Then select Payment Method as per the requirement and Complete the payment process.

2. Outstanding showing in Margay and BSS/Ledger is different.

Ans. (i) Make sure that your mail id or Mobile number should be added correctly in your ledger by your distributor.   

(ii) If the problem remains the same so please share your details with us @ info@margpay.com or call on 011-30969696.

3. My bank account has been debited but transaction is in process?

Ans. We were not expecting this transaction to take longer than usual. You will get a notification once the transaction will be processed.

4. Which payment method I can use for outstanding payment?

Ans. You can use Net banking/CC/DC/Wallet and UPI as your preferred payment mode.

5. My bank net banking is not reflecting what can I do?

Ans. Worry less! Thanks for raising this to us. We are continuously adding new banking details for quick resolution kindly share your bank name. We will add the same on priority.

6. How to do payment through my UPI account?

Ans. Simple! Just enter your VPA (Virtual Payment Address) or BHIM UPI Id then click on pay now and process the payment through your UPI app.

7. Payment successfully completed but my outstanding still showing in MargPay dashboard What can i do ?

Ans. No worry! We are in the process of settling your payment to your distributor/partner.  We request you to kindly wait for 24 Hrs and check again. If the issue is still there please let us know.

8. How can we check our Transaction history?

Ans. Login to your MargPay account > Click on My Transaction and check your all previous transaction history as per the selected period.

9. How to initiate payment SMS link?

Ans. Firstly, Create sale bill then press 'Ctrl+N' or click on the “Rupee” symbol at the time of saving bill.

10. My bank account has been debited and transaction has been failed, how can I get refund for the same?

Ans. Don’t worry; sometimes it’s happened due to some technical issue at your bank end.  Your money is safe, you will get a refund from your bank within 7 working days.

11. Some transactions are not updating in pending settlement head what is the reason ?

Ans. If the customer pays through the link sent by SMS or E-mail, then the payment will reflect in the direct Marg pay ledger it will not show in the pending settlement head.

12. Can Retailer log in with Mobile number on Marg Pay ?

Ans. Yes, the Retailers can log in Margpay panel by Mobile Number.

13. Is there a charge for paying with credit card ?

Ans: Yes, If the user makes a payment with a corporate credit card, then he will be charged 2.4%+18%(GST).

General Queries

1. What is the settlement time of payment?

Ans. We are settling the amount in T+0 (Zero) Twice in a day.

2. Getting error during the payment, what should I do?

Ans. Kindly share screen shot of the error at info@margpay.com or call on 011-30969696.

3. Merchant unable to upload documents what should I do?

Ans. Please check if the document size is not more than 500 KB. If issue is still there kindly share error screens shot on info@margpay.com or call on 011-30969696.
4. I don’t have current account, Can I registered as a merchant?
Ans. No! For merchant registration Current account is mandatory.

5. Is SMS scheduler is chargeable?

Ans. No! We are not taking any charges for SMS scheduler.

6. Can we use Shop proof as an address proof?

Ans. No, shop proof is for showing your line of business and for address proof you can provide registration certificate or trade license.

7. My Registration is showing pending status. What Can I Do?
Ans. Click on check status button in registration window if your application is approved from MargPay , If not kindly wait for some time, we are reviewing your application. 

8. Unable to Register as a Sub-Merchant?

Ans. Make sure your register email id or mobile number must be updated in your ledger at distributor end.

9. Unable to receive OTP, What can I do?

Ans. Kindly check your mobile network strength is strong and you are in the mobile network coverage area. If the issue is still there kindly contact us at info@margpay.com or call on 011-30969696.

10. How MargPay is different from other payment option available?

Ans. MargPay is the only payment service which is directly connected with MargERP. MargPay is providing effortless reconciliation, easy to use and time saving.

12. How can I add my retailers for MargPay in MargERP?

Ans. Open MargERP software then Go to Banking > Digital Collection > MargPay ID > Select party group > Press F11 > Type “Bulk update MargPay Id”.
