Process of How Retailers can create UPI ID & Pay to Distributors through Marg Pay to Avail 2% Cashback

OVERVIEW OF HOW RETAILERS CAN PAY TO DISTRIBUTORS THROUGH MARG PAY

• The retailers can now digitally pay their distributors through multiple payments modes i.e. UPI, Net banking, Credit Card, Debit Cards or Wallets.

• Along with it also get assured 2% Cash back on every B2B transaction by using Paytm UPI.

PROCESS OF HOW RETAILERS CAN CREATE UPI ID & PAY TO DISTRIBUTORS THROUGH MARG PAY TO AVAIL 2% CASHBACK

• Suppose the retailer receives a SMS from the distributor regarding the payment. The Retailer will click on the Marg Pay link given in the SMS.

• A ‘Marg Pay’ screen will appear with all the details of the distributor along with the amount to be paid.

• The Retailer has different payment methods i.e. UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Wallet. If the Retailer pays through Paytm UPI then user can avail 2% Cash back T&C apply

   

  Cashback upto ₹ 6000 per month

  • Minimum transaction amount ₹ 1000
  • Maximum Cashback per transaction ₹ 200
  • Valid on 5 transactions per day
  • Valid on 30 transactions per month
  • Maximum cashback per distributor ₹ 200 per day, and ₹ 600 per Month
  • Offer valid till 31st March 2021

• Now in order to avail 2% Cash back, click on ‘UPI’ tab.

• Enter the desired Paytm UPI ID.

• If the Retailer has not created the Paytm UPI then firstly create the UPI ID.

PROCESS TO CREATE & VIEW PAYTM UPI ID FOR ANDROID USERS

• To create Paytm UPI ID, the retailer will ‘Install’ the Paytm App from the Playstore and ‘Open’ it.

• Click on ‘BHIM UPI’ tab.

• A ‘Create Your BHIM UPI Account’ screen will appear.

• The Retailer will ‘Select the Bank Account’ as per the requirement which needs to be linked with Paytm BHIM UPI.

• If the Retailer is not able to view the preferred bank then will click on ‘Select from all other banks’ and select the bank.

• Then click on ‘Proceed’.        

• Once the processing is completed, the Paytm will verify or fetch the bank details.

• If the selected bank account is linked with the Mobile number then the account will get verified and a SMS will be received on the registered mobile number.

• Then the Retailer will create the UPI Address and click on ‘Submit’.

• Now the Paytm will confirm all the details and the BHIM UPI ID will get created.

PROCESS TO PAY THE OUTSTANDINGS TO DISTRIBUTORS THROUGH MARG PAY

• Once the BHIM UPI ID is created, the Retailer will copy the UPI ID and enter it in ‘Paytm UPI ID’ field of Marg Pay Payment page.

• Click on ‘Pay Now’.

• Now a SMS will be received from Marg Pay on the registered mobile number in order to make the payment. The Retailer will click on the given link.

• Click on Pay along with the desired amount.

• Then select your bank account.

• In case if the Retailer has linked multiple accounts in Paytm App then all the linked bank accounts will appear and the Retailer will then select the desired bank account.

• Click on ‘Proceed’ tab.

• Enter the UPI PIN and click on ‘tick’ button.

• A message of ‘Paid Successfully’ will appear.

• Now the Retailer will receive a SMS from Paytm that the cash back has been credited to your Paytm Account against the payment done.

• In order to view the cash back, the Retailer will click on ‘Cashback & Offers’ option from the Paytm App.

• Click on ‘Cashback Won’.

• The Retailer can view that the cash back of 2% has been received against the transaction which is been made.
