How to Merge Ledgers in Marg Software ?

This option enables the user to merge the two ledger which have been created by mistake or for any other purpose.

In order to merge Ledgers, the user needs to follow the given steps:

  • Go to Reports Management Report > Utilities > Merge Accounts Masters > Party.

  • A 'Merge Ledger' window will appear where the user will press 'Enter' key.

  • A 'Ledgers' window will appear.
  • Press 'Enter' key on that ledger which needs to be merged.
  • Suppose, select 'Ahuja Medicine Centre'.

  • Now a 'With Area' window will appear.

  • Then again press 'Enter' key and select that ledger with which the user needs to merge the selected ledger.
  • Suppose, select 'Ahuja Medicine Centre'.

  • In 'Merge?' option, Select 'Yes' to merge the ledger.

  • Then press 'ESC' Key to exit from the window. 
  • Then the software will suggest the user to run an error checking.
