Process to View Merge Reports in Marg ERP Software

OVERVIEW OF MERGE REPORTS IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

  • Merge Reports option enables the user to easily view the Merge Reports of different companies i.e. Balance Sheet Report, Profit & Loss /C, Trial Balance, etc. in Marg ERP Software.

PROCESS TO VIEW MERGE REPORTS IN MARG ERP SOFTWARE

  • Go to Stocks>>Merge Reports.

  • A “Merge Reports” window will appear with different options i.e.:

A. Same Financial Year All Companies

  • Same Financial Year All Companies: This means that all the companies will be shown here which have same financial year.
  • The user will select “A” and press “Enter”.

  • A “Company Selection” window will appear.
  • If the user needs to view the Merge Report of all the companies with the same financial year then select all the companies.
  • And if the user needs to view particular companies then press “Spacebar” key to select or unselect the company.  
  • Press “Enter”.

  • A “Merge Report” window will appear with different options i.e. Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss A/C, Trial Balance etc in which the user will select the Merge Report. Suppose, select “A. Balance Sheet”.

  • An “Upload Data” window will appear in which the user will fill the following fields:

a. Report as on: Mention the date i.e. till which date the user needs to view the report. Suppose, 30-04-2019.

b. Expenses Merge: Select whether the user needs to view the report with merge expenses or not. Suppose, select “No”.

  • Press “Enter”.

  • Then a “Balance Sheet Printing” window will appear in which the user will select that in which format the Balance Sheet must be printed like Vertical w/o Detail, Vertical with Detail, Horizontal w/o Detail, Horizontal with Detail. 
  • Suppose, select “Horizontal w/o Detail”.

  • A “Horizontal w/o Detail” window will appear with the following fields:

a) No. of Copies: Enter the number of copies which the user needs to print. Suppose, enter 1.

b) Merge Ledgers with same time: Select whether the ledgers needs to be merge or not of the same name. Suppose, select “Yes”.

c) Heading: Here, the user can change the heading of the report as per the requirement. Suppose, heading is “Merge Balance Sheet”.

  • Press “Enter”.

  • Then the user will select whether the report needs to be viewed or print out needs to be taken. Along with the user can also export the report in Excel, Word, PDF and HTML.
  • Suppose, select “View”.

  • Now, the user can view that the Merge Balance Sheet report with the same financial year has been displayed.

  • If the employee needs to view the “Merge Profit and Loss Report”, then select “Profit & Loss A/C” from “Merge Report” window.

  • An “Upload Data” window will appear in which the user will fill the following fields:

c. Report as on: Mention the date i.e. till which date the user needs to view the report. Suppose, 01-10-2019.

d. Expenses Merge: Select whether the user needs to view the report with merge expenses or not. Suppose, select “No”.

  • Press “Enter”.

  • Then a “Profit & Loss Account” window will appear in which the user will select that in which format the Profit and Loss Account must be viewed like Trading Account, Profit and Loss Account and Trading, Profit & Loss A/C. 
  • Suppose, select “Profit & Loss A/C”.

  • A “Profit & Loss Account” window will appear with the following fields:

a) Heading: Here, the user can change the heading of the report as per the requirement. Suppose, heading is “Merge Profit & Loss Account”.

b) Merge Ledgers with same time: Select whether the ledgers needs to be merge or not of the same name. Suppose, select “No”.

  • Press “Enter”.

  • Then the user will select whether the report needs to be viewed or print out needs to be taken. Along with the user can also export the report in Excel, Word, PDF and HTML.
  • Suppose, select “View”.

  • Now, the user can view that the Merge Profit & Loss Account report with the same financial year has been displayed.

  • So, the user can view different Merge Reports as per the requirement.

B. Different Financial Year All Companies

  • Different Financial Year All Companies: This means that all the financial years of a particular company will be shown differently here.
  • The user will select “B” and press “Enter”.

  • A “Company Selection” window will appear.
  • The user will select those companies by pressing “Spacebar” key in order to view the merge report of the financial years as per the requirement.
  • Press “Enter”.

  • A “Merge Report” window will appear with different options i.e. Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss A/C and Trial Balance in which the user will select the Merge Report. Suppose, select “A. Balance Sheet”.

  • Now, the user can view that the Merge Balance Sheet report of different financial years has been displayed.

C. Different Financial Year Single Company 

  • Different Financial Year Single Company: This means that all the financial years of a single company will be shown here.
  • The user will select “C” and press “Enter”.

  • A “Company Selection” window will appear.
  • The user will select the companies by pressing “Spacebar” key in order to view the merge report of the financial years as per the requirement.
  • Press “Enter”.
