In Marg ERP Software, the user can decrease some % from the Cost in All Items, the user can do it with help of 'Item master multi editing' option in Marg software with many filters i.e. Company, Category, HSN etc.

Suppose Cost of a product 'A'= 1000 & user needs to Deduct 10 % from the cost.

In order to Decrease Cost in All Items, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Reports > Management Report > Utilities > Multi Editing > Item Master Multi Editing.

• An 'Item Master Multi Editing' window will appear.

• In 'Stock As On' feed the date upto which the user needs to view items.

• In 'Stock Status', the user will select 'Whole' and select other filter as per requirement.

• Then click on 'Accept'.

• A 'Closing Stock' window will appear.

• The user will press 'Enter' key then select 'All Items'.

• An 'Item Master Multi Editing' window will appear. Select 'Yes'.

• Then select Replace 'Cost' with 'All'.

• Thereafter, the user will enter that % which needs to be deducted from the Cost.

• Suppose feed '10'.

• Then type 'SURE' and press 'Enter' key on it.

Earlier the Cost was Rs. 1000.

After mentioning 10% = [1000- (1000*10/100)] = Rs. 900

After following the above steps, the Cost will get decreased as per the mentioned % in All items.
