In Marg Software, if the user needs to change Item Code in All Items at once then Item Code can be Re-generate in All Items as per the requirement.

In order to Re-Generate Item Code, the user needs to follow the below steps:

• Go to Reports > Management Report > Utilities > Multi Editing > Maping > Re-Generate Code.

• An 'Item Code Generator' window will appear.
• In 'Re-Generate Codes', the user needs to type 'RE-GENERATE MY CODE'.

Now the user can view 3 types of Formula are given to Re-Generate Item Code.

a. Formula 1: Select this option if needs to generate Item Code in which first 2 Character will define by the user as per the requirement, then 3 characters will be of Company Name and Last 5 will be Numeric.

b. Formule 2:  Select this option if needs to generate Item Code in which first 3 Character will be of Company Name, 5 Characters will be Product name and Last 2 will be Numeric.

c. Formula 3: Select this option if needs to generate Item Code in which first 2 Character will be of Company Name, 4 Characters will be Product name and Last 2 will be Numeric.

• The user will select the Formula on which basis Item Code needs to be Re-Generate.
• Suppose select '2'.

• Now the user will type 'SURE'.

• A Marg ERP 9+ alert of 'Codes Generated!' will appear.
• Click on 'Ok'.

After following the above steps, the user can view Item Code will get Re-Generate in Marg Software.
